Custom manufacturing usually goes wrong before the factory sees it. The salesperson has the dimensions, colours, sizes, artwork or special instructions - then production gets a spreadsheet or an email.
Tall Emu can keep those customer-specific requirements on the order. Planned enhancements would add quantity matrices, personalisation and artwork or file requirements to the production specification. These enhancements are not yet available.

A Sales Order can show the Purchase Orders and Work Orders created to fulfil it. Open the production or purchasing record and you can see which customer demand it supports. Sales can answer “where is it?” without matching records by hand.

Bills of Materials, Work Orders, Production Steps and the Production Calculator are available today. Planned enhancements would add richer Work Order context and visual planning across people, machines and workstations, including capacity and dependency warnings.

Can Tall Emu manage make-to-order production?
Yes. Staff can generate a linked Work Order from a Sales Order containing manufactured products. Custom requirements recorded on the sale can follow to the Work Order, with purchasing and stock linked to the work.

Yes. The Production Calculator lets you test quantities, material use and cost before committing the work, so pricing and purchasing decisions happen before production starts.
Do I need a full ERP to run manufacturing?
