Tall Emu connects the sale to BOMs, Work Orders, Production Steps, purchasing, stock and delivery, so production works from the same customer promise sales made.
Yes. Tall Emu includes Bills of Materials, Work Orders and Production Steps - not just stock tracking. Production works from the same customer order, purchasing and stock as the rest of the system.

Turn actual demand into production work, with the customer, Sales Order, inputs, outputs and progress kept together.

Test quantities, material use and cost before committing the work.
Custom manufacturing usually goes wrong before the factory sees it. The salesperson has the dimensions, colours, sizes, artwork or special instructions - then production gets a spreadsheet or an email.
Tall Emu can keep those customer-specific requirements on the order. Version 3 extends that model with stronger made-to-order capture, including quantity matrices, personalisation and artwork or file requirements that can travel with the production specification.
A Sales Order can show the Purchase Orders and Work Orders created to fulfil it. Open the production or purchasing record and you can see which customer demand it supports. Sales can answer “where is it?” without matching records by hand.
The current Version 3 manufacturing program is extending the existing BOM and Work Order foundation with a clearer BOM builder, reusable Production Steps, stronger Work Order context and visual production planning.
Tall Emu is a strong fit for make-to-order, configure-to-order, light make-to-stock, assembly, batch work, print and textile, apparel, custom fabrication and similar product businesses that still want MYOB or Xero to remain their accounts.
