Authorship and review

Substantial guides and comparison articles carry a named author - product buying guides are written and reviewed by Mike Nash, Tall Emu's founder and CEO. Technical claims about product behaviour are drawn from the product itself, Tall Emu's help centre, or the team that builds and implements it. Published dates change only when content meaningfully changes; our sitemap dates are generated from the actual edit history, not the publishing system's build date.

Competitor comparisons

Comparison pages use competitor pricing and feature information from the competitor's own published material or named independent guides, linked and dated on the page. Comparisons state the basis of any price comparison (currency, per-user versus flat tiers, tax treatment), disclose where another product is the better fit, and avoid characterising competitors beyond what sources support. Pages are reviewed against Australian Consumer Law requirements before publishing.

Reviews and awards

Customer quotations on this site are real, published reviews with a traceable source - linked to Google or Capterra where they appear. Ratings shown include the platform, score, review count and the date we last checked them. Awards are named with their category and year and linked to the announcement.

Review schedule

Pricing, integration, comparison and legal content is re-checked on a standing schedule: competitor pricing and claims when pages are updated and at least quarterly; our own pricing whenever it changes; AI-search and technical standards monthly. Corrections ship the day they are found - factual errors do not wait for a scheduled review.
