Yes - the Production Calculator tests quantities, material use and cost from the BOM before the work is committed, so pricing decisions happen before production starts.
Does it handle make-to-order and make-to-stock?
Both. Make-to-order runs from the customer's sales order into production; make-to-stock runs on Work Orders raised against forecast or reorder levels.
Can we track serial numbers and batches through production?
Yes - serial and batch identity carries from receipt of materials through production and out with the shipped goods, so recalls and warranty questions trace in seconds.
