A manufacturer's day in Tall Emu
Record customer requirements on the quote, convert accepted items to a Sales Order and generate a linked Work Order. Staff can review component shortages, create purchasing records and record production progress. Completing the Work Order makes its finished stock available. Serial or batch tracking depends on product setup and recorded details. Shipment invoicing depends on the relevant setting; supported financial records are then queued for MYOB or Xero sync. Is Tall Emu suitable when we make products to customer requirements?
Tall Emu can keep custom requirements with the sale and a linked Work Order. Discuss the detail you need to capture with our team. For BOMs, production steps and costing, see the manufacturing capabilities.
Does it handle make-to-order and make-to-stock?
Staff can create Work Orders for a customer order or to build stock. The documented Replenishment Rule setting does not currently automate production against forecast or reorder levels.
Can we track serial numbers and batches through production?
Yes. Products configured for serial or batch tracking can be used in production. Staff need to record the required identifiers on the relevant input, output and stock records.
