A CRM that connects customer relationships with the work behind every order.
Keep shared customer and contact records with the history, notes and sales activity your team needs. Spend less time hunting through inboxes when a customer calls or another team member takes over.
- Follow the next sale: manage leads and opportunities through sales pipelines, with an owner and a clear next step.
- Keep follow-ups visible: use tasks, follow-up dates and reminders to help prevent enquiries being forgotten.
- Quote with the customer in view: keep quotes connected to the customer record and the agreed details.
- Hand over with context: see orders and relevant account information alongside customer activity, so sales and operations can follow the same history.
When a quote becomes an order, the agreed details stay with the sale. The team arranging stock and delivery can see what the customer needs.
Customer story - distribution
BluSky connected customer history with stock and freight.
BluSky Products needed a better way to share customer buying history and stock availability. Its published story describes bringing that history into Tall Emu and replacing separate stock and freight spreadsheets.
Read the BluSky Products story →MYOB keeps the accounts. Tall Emu connects the business.
For wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers, the customer relationship does not end when a quote is accepted. There is stock to allocate, purchasing to organise and a delivery to complete.
Tall Emu brings that work together. Your accounts team keeps MYOB for accounting and compliance, while customer records, leads, quotes, orders and fulfilment are managed in Tall Emu.
Turn agreed quotes into orders the team can follow
If sales staff track quotes separately from the people processing orders, agreed details can get lost at the handover. Tall Emu keeps customer records, leads and sales activity connected to quoting and sales orders.
The team handling the order can work from the customer and sale already recorded, while sales can follow the operational work that comes next.
Inventory management with MYOB
Before promising a delivery, staff need more than a total stock figure. Tall Emu shows stock on hand, quantities committed to orders and stock available to supply, alongside purchasing and sales.
Manage stock across multiple locations and see where an item is held without relying on a separate spreadsheet or a call to the warehouse. MYOB keeps its accounting role; Tall Emu manages the day-to-day stock position.
Inventory management connects those stock figures with customer demand. Location setup depends on your MYOB product: where MYOB supports stock locations, create them there and import them into Tall Emu.
Keep sales orders and purchasing connected
A customer order waiting on one component should not disappear between sales and buying. Connect purchasing and purchase orders with sales orders so staff can see shortages, incoming stock and outstanding quantities.
Record what arrives against the purchase, including partial receipts, so the next person can see what still needs to be supplied.
Warehouse management alongside MYOB
Tall Emu supports receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock against the orders your office team uses. Outbound shipment statuses show progress, and barcode scanning can help staff check picked items.
Use stock locations and bay details to organise where goods are held. These are Tall Emu warehouse management capabilities working alongside MYOB; the accounting integration does not perform the warehouse tasks.
Warehouse Mobile is planned as part of a staged rollout. Talk to us about availability for your business before planning a move to mobile warehouse workflows.
Link light manufacturing to stock and orders
When production is planned apart from sales and purchasing, it is harder to see which materials an order needs. Tall Emu uses bills of materials and work orders to connect material inputs, finished goods and customer demand.
Your production team can follow the work and its stock requirements in the same system as the sale. See manufacturing linked to stock and orders.

Make B2B customer ordering easier
Regular customers can place orders through the B2B customer ordering portal, reducing the need to take every repeat purchase by phone or email. Customers see pricing based on their configured price level and can view their quotes, orders and invoices.
You control portal access and which ordering and account features customers can use.
The updated portal is an optional paid addition to your Tall Emu subscription: $100 per month, billed annually at $1,200, or $135 per month when paying monthly. Prices are in AUD and exclude GST. It is being introduced through a staged rollout; our team can confirm availability. See portal features and pricing.
Connect freight with fulfilment
Keep dispatch connected to the customer order with freight and fulfilment tools for quotes, bookings, labels and tracking where supported by the provider. Staff can follow the shipment from the order instead of piecing together separate dispatch records.

How the MYOB integration works
Tall Emu supports cloud-based MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Business and MYOB Essentials, as listed in the MYOB connection prerequisites. AccountRight 19 and Classic are not supported.
Connection requires full administrator access. Review the starting data before connecting: the initial MYOB import is not a selective import. Follow the MYOB connection guide and confirm the settings for your product.
- Customers and products: imported at setup; records needed for sales, purchases or stock transactions are then sent from Tall Emu.
- Quotes and sales orders: managed in Tall Emu, with no ongoing sync to MYOB.
- Invoices: export when created or updated. Supplier bills: export when created, under the enabled sync process.
- Payments: allocated payments export from Tall Emu; MYOB payments import periodically, documented as every two hours during working hours.
Sync must be enabled, and records are queued. Tall Emu is the stock master after the initial import. Choose the stock-adjustment account during setup. Use the MYOB automatic sync guide for record-level rules.
Keep operational changes in Tall Emu rather than editing the same transaction independently in both systems. Missing or incorrect data can prevent a sync from completing.
