A customer order waiting on one component should not disappear between sales and buying. Connect purchasing and purchase orders with sales orders so staff can see shortages, incoming stock and outstanding quantities.

Make B2B customer ordering easier
Regular customers can place orders through the B2B customer ordering portal, reducing the need to take every repeat purchase by phone or email. Customers see pricing based on their configured price level and can view their quotes, orders and invoices.

Connect freight with fulfilment
Keep dispatch connected to the customer order with freight and fulfilment tools for quotes, bookings, labels and tracking where supported by the provider. Staff can follow the shipment from the order instead of piecing together separate dispatch records.
How the MYOB integration works
Tall Emu supports cloud-based MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Business and MYOB Essentials, as listed in the MYOB connection prerequisites. AccountRight 19 and Classic are not supported.
Connection requires full administrator access. Review the starting data before connecting: the initial MYOB import is not a selective import. Follow the MYOB connection guide and confirm the settings for your product.
- Customers and products: imported at setup; records needed for sales, purchases or stock transactions are then sent from Tall Emu.
- Quotes and sales orders: managed in Tall Emu, with no ongoing sync to MYOB.
- Invoices and supplier bills: sent to MYOB under the enabled sync process.
- Payments: allocated payments export from Tall Emu; MYOB payments import periodically, documented as every two hours during working hours.
Sync must be enabled, and records are queued. Tall Emu is the stock master after the initial import. Choose the stock-adjustment account during setup. Use the MYOB automatic sync guide for record-level rules.
Keep operational changes in Tall Emu rather than editing the same transaction independently in both systems. Missing or incorrect data can prevent a sync from completing.
MYOB integration questions
Can I keep MYOB and use Tall Emu for CRM, inventory and orders?
Yes. MYOB remains your accounting system while Tall Emu connects customer relationships, sales and the operational work needed to supply each order.
How does Tall Emu work with MYOB?
Connect a supported cloud-based MYOB file, import the starting data and configure the integration. Tall Emu then becomes the day-to-day system for sales and stock.
What information is shared between the systems?
Supported records include customers, products, invoices, supplier bills and payments. Direction and timing depend on the record; quotes and sales orders do not have an ongoing sync.
Can I manage stock across multiple locations?
Yes. Tall Emu manages stock by location. If your MYOB product supports stock locations, create them in MYOB and import them; otherwise, locations can be created in Tall Emu.
Can Tall Emu support warehouse operations?
Yes. Receiving and outbound shipments connect picking, packing and dispatch with orders. Barcode picking is supported. Warehouse Mobile availability should be confirmed for your business.
Is Tall Emu suitable for wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers?
