Get Set for Success with CRM!
We know that moving to a new system can be hard and disruptive, which is why we’ve made our onboarding process as simple as possible. Onboarding is a mandatory component of signing up with Tall Emu, and gives you all the support you need to get going, fast. It allows up to 10 hours of our time in the first 60 days which we’ll use for training, support and tailoring of the system to meet your unique business needs.
Step 1: Getting to know you
We’ll run through with you a list of your objectives in using CRM, identify what data you have to import and make arrangements to get it from you. This will be a meeting conducted by Microsoft Teams, and after that meeting, you’ll send us all of the data you need to get in CRM. We’ll ask you to give us your IT contact for any of the tricky stuff, so we can introduce ourselves. We’ll also ask you to connect your accounting software up to CRM if you haven’t done so already.
Step 2: System Setup
Our team will configure your CRM, import your data, and do all the necessary setup to get your CRM up and running. This can include products, leads, and other data from excel spreadsheets. We will also setup things like your webforms, for lead capture and co-ordinate with your web developer as needed. If you need custom fields, or things aren’t quite clear – our team will get in contact and discuss with you.
Step 3: System Review
Once we have your data in and your system setup, we’ll run though it with you, look at your key processes and how to operate the CRM to accomplish them. We’ll explain how it works with your accounting software and make sure you’re happy. This will be done on a Teams meeting. If we’re missing anything, or there are changes to requirements, no worries – we can correct that here and run another review once we’ve done that.
Step 4: Ready to Launch
Now you’re happy with the setup, we’ll show your team how to use it to accomplish their most important day to day tasks. We’ll usually want to do this session the day before you launch so it is fresh in the minds of your team. The scope depends on your business, but we’ll cover things like Sales Pipeline, Quoting, Selling, Invoicing, collecting payments and purchasing. We want to make sure that we go through enough so that your team is able to do the work – but not too much so that they’re overwhelmed with mind-numbing details. For larger customers, we may split this into separate meetings with different groups of users.
Step 5 : Launch Day
This is the day you start using CRM for your business processes. It may be a bit bumpy as you’re learning new things and using the system for the first time live, but our team will be available by phone and teams to help you on that day. Within a few hours of use, things will start to become second nature – especially if you have used software like MYOB or Xero before.
Step 6: Post Launch Support
You’ll now be using the system every day, and naturally questions will come up. We’ll still be here to conduct additional training sessions, and answer questions as you get more and more used to the system you’ll learn some of the admin tasks that we’ve being doing on your behalf while you get going, such as creating and managing users, security permissions and lookup lists.
