The Avaya BCM connects to the LAN via the socket on the front of the PBX. The local IP address and other network settings are set through the Avaya Business Element Manager software, which is downloaded from the PBX.
Go Connect Server Installation Notes
To perform an installation you will need the IP address of the PBX.
When deflecting a call, the call continues ringing at your extension as well as at the deflection target. The PBX does not natively support completing a consultation transfer while the consultation is in the ringing state. Instead, Go Connect Server simulates this functionality by canceling the consultation and performing a single-step blind transfer.
